Thank you for considering adoption through Animals, People and Environment Action. We are a 501c3 non profit organization run solely on the donations of caring citizens and volunteers. Without community support we cannot do the work we do to save and rehabilitate animals. We are looking for adoption persons who are committing to making a difference financially and morally in the life of an animal.
We ask for a MINIMUM contribution donation* of $250.00. For senior dogs we ask a reduced contribution of $150.00. These donations help us cover the spay/neuter of your new pet, current shots, micro chipping, training if needed, food/medical and temporary boarding of the animal. A home check will be required as well as a binding contract to adoptan animal from our organization.
*Contribution donations are NOT A PURCHASE PRICE NOR ADOPTION FEE but a donation freely given. This donation is NOT the ONLY consideration when evaluating a perspective adoptee, although it is a important part of our decision process, the inability to support our work is a warning to us, that maybe the adoptee cannot realistically afford to care for a pet. Vet bills are expensive and costly.
