Animals, People, & Environment Action (APe Action)
We also believe in creating fun ways for children to make a difference in the world. Click image to be directed to Rio Films website! This award-winning documentary film is used as a tool to teach children not only about Sea Lions but to show them up close and personal that there are animals living at our mercy. The viewings are educational, fun for the audience, and heartwarming. Moreover, ApeAction hopes to invoke excitement in the younger generation spurring them on to become involved with excited and involved with their environment and instilling respect and compassion for living entities.
Through the implementation of documentaries, lectures, field trips, music, publications, and other special events, APe Action strives to provide a broad understanding of environmental issues and eco-systems. We aim to form partnerships with other organizations to deliver our message to schools, churches, and community fundraisers.
“Please Go APe" campaigns are being created to inspire compassion and love to adults and the younger generation through media, documentaries, lectures, field trips, music, and other special events. We provide factual information regarding the interconnection of animals, people, and the environment in a positive, healthy, and fun way where critical thinking is stimulated. APe Action believes in providing students a wider understanding of environmental issues and eco-systems along with enhancing their understanding that animals are sentient beings. Increasing awareness of these issues will create a domino effect of positive changes in our world. Daily changes such as diet, recycling, and exercise can contribute to society in a positive way. Our goal is to teach students that having empathy for other beings is essential to being kind and compassionate citizens.
