About the Artist: A Russian born artist Svetlana Novikova is internationally known for her unique impressionistic style, vibrant colors, and soulful depiction of animals. Her artwork can be seen in private and public collections in US and abroad, and in several magazines.
When she paints animals, her goal is to reflect each subject’s unique personality using specific colors, texture, and brush strokes. Watercolors, oils, and acrylics are some of her favorite media. She also loves to work with palette knives to add a feeling of energy and spontaneity to her work. Svetlana often donates her artwork and some of her proceeds to various charity organizations and animal rescue clubs.
